Activities happening during the final week<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. June 22, 2026. Junior Youth and IBOC<\/strong>. Optional NO COST Field Trip to the Natural History Museum and Clark Planetarium<\/strong>. There will be busing to Wasatch Jr in the morning, as usual, and the students will be returned to the Junior Highs later that day. Lunch will be provided. More info to follow. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. June 23, 2026. Senior and Junior Youth<\/strong>. Concert at the Loveland Aquarium in Draper<\/strong>. IBOC is invited to listen and to enjoy the Aquarium. The concert will begin at 2pm and the students and their families are welcome to enjoy the Aquarium until it closes. All Senior and Junior students will be bused from Wasatch Jr to the Aquarium at 12:45 pm but there will only be one bus available to return students to Wasatch Jr. If you cannot attend the Aquarium with your student they will be available to be picked up at Wasatch Jr at\/around 5:30 pm. Lunch will be provided for those that filled out the form. More info to follow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. June 24, 2026. Junior Youth Symphony<\/strong>. Concert at Trolley Square<\/strong>. The concert will begin at 11 am and the students will leave Trolley Square at 12:30 pm. There will be transportation to and from the concert and lunch will be provided as well. The students will be returned to their nearest Junior High Schools in the same order as normal after GYS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. June 24, 2026. Senior Youth Symphony and Choirs<\/strong>. Concert at Valley Fair Mall<\/strong>. Call Time is 6:30 pm. The concert will be on the West side of the mall, next to Handel’s Ice Cream, and will begin at 7:30 pm. There will be no transportation to this concert. Please make sure your student arrives on time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. June 25, 2026. ALL GROUPS<\/strong>. Final Concert at Wasatch Jr High<\/strong>. Call time is 5:30 pm. The concert begins at 6:00 pm. There will be no transportation to this concert. Please make sure your student arrives on time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. June 26, 2026. NO GYS REHEARSAL<\/strong>. Senior Youth Symphony and Choir leaves for Tour this morning. More info to follow.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Introductory Band and Orchestra Camp<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    9:30 – 11:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    (recommended for students entering 6th grade-8th grade who want to learn an instrument)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This summer program is an opportunity for incoming junior high students to learn to play musical instruments or improve their existing musical talents. While at the camp, students will receive individualized instruction for their instrumental section, and will perform with Granite\u2019s Junior and Senior youth symphonies at the end of the summer session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
