Granite School District has implemented a tutoring program for homeless students who attend non-Title I schools. Students who are homeless can take part in this program at their school if both they and their parents agree.
Tutoring is directed at students with academic difficulties in reading and/or math. Students are tutored after school for 40 minutes, two-four days a week. The students are tutored by certified teachers. The tutoring groups can consist of 1-5 students.
