3 is NOT the Highest Score Possible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A score of 3 tells a student he\/she has met the standard.  If a student understands the standard fully and can apply it in different ways, he\/she is highly proficient and is scored a 4. “Homework” vs. Learning Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Traditional “homework” no longer counts toward the final grade; however, targeted learning activities are assigned as independent practice on which students receive feedback from their teacher.  Learning activities are independent practice of what has been taught in class and are tied to specific learning standards and objectives.
