This campaign centers on the fact that students do better academically if they attend school over 90% of the time. The main emphasis focuses on students in the K-10th grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many questions parents may have regarding attendance can be answered in the <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1PhlEhVZ6DOyByIsYuyAyk7pvAvW5BeLBd4MwAZSyxBo\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Attendance Procedures (Google Document)<\/a>. A <a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1xc0Wlb_8uYB4IxND7RRbPMpWyMBcgJ5GgGeDbjmZ5WE\/edit?usp=sharing\">Spanish translation (Google Document)<\/a> of the Procedures is also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>In keeping with our commitment to providing a quality education, schools are concerned when a student misses school for any reason. Students who are excessively absent from school are less likely to accomplish their educational goals.
