Parents of students who are attending Home School, Private Schools, or BIE (Bureau of Indian Education) Schools and want their student to participate in Utah state testing can do so at a Granite School District school (their boundary school or another convenient school) based on Utah Board <\/a>Rule <\/a>Utah Board Rule R277-404 (PDF)<\/a>. These assessments are optional.  They are standardized and indicate the student\u2019s academic growth and progress. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following assessments will be given at Granite School District schools during the 2026-2027 school year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RISE<\/strong><\/td>Mar 22 – May 21<\/td>Grades 3-10 academic achievement for ELA, math, and science<\/td><\/tr>
ACT<\/strong><\/td>March 23<\/td>Grade 11 measures college readiness for all subjects.

contact the school before December 6th)<\/em><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

If you would like your student to participate, this Student Assessment Survey<\/a> must be completed at least 30 days before the testing window for the assessment you are requesting opens.
