Granite School District provides all staff and students a subscription to Microsoft 365, a service from Microsoft that provides online file storage using OneDrive and web-based versions of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- To log into the web-based apps of Microsoft 365, go to the Apps Dashboard:

- A Sign In page will ask for your email address or phone number.

Enter your @graniteschools.org e-mail address. - The next page will ask for your password.

Enter your password, then click Sign in. - If your password has expired, you will be prompted to change it.
Enter your current password in the first box, followed by your new password in the following two boxes. - If your new password does not meet the complexity requirements, you will see the error, “Your new password doesn’t meet your organization’s password policy. Try something else, or ask your admin for tips.”
For staff users or for students grades four and higher, the password needs to be at least eight characters long. It cannot contain three or more consecutive characters from the first name, last name, or username. You cannot reuse old passwords. Passwords must include three of the following four requirements:
– an upper case letter
– a lower case letter
– a number
– a special symbol (For example: !, $, #, or %) - After a successful login, you may be asked if you want to stay signed in.

If this is a shared public computer, such as at a public library, click No. - The Apps Dashboard will display shortcuts for the most commonly used apps.
To find applications like Outlook or Word, scroll down to the Productivity section. - To log out . . .
Click on the icon (or your photo) in the top right. From the menu, select Sign Out.
