Registration Dates: Parents submit application to school COUNSELOR (Google Form)
Summer Start Date: 6/6/25 (excluding Driver Ed)
Summer End Date: 7/23/25 (excluding Driver Ed)

| April 1 | Online Parent Consent Form Parents must fill out an online consent form in order to receive registration documents. |
| April 15-May 1 | Registration: General Registration opens for COUNSELORS online. Some counselors may require forms to be submitted a week in advance. |
| May 12-16 | Late Registration for summer if spaces remain. |
| June 6 | Course Start Date check your student is enrolled here (Google Document) |
| July 18 | All work DUE. We do allow for late work until July 23. |
| July 23 | Last Day of Class. All courses lock at 4:00pm. Any late work or redos must be submitted by this time. |
| Aug 1 | Grades Posted on Fall Quarter 1 transcript |
Driver Education Online: Summer 2025
All requests for SUMMER Driver Ed with Granite Online will be put into a random selection drawing (lottery). All applications submitted within the application window have an equal chance of being selected during the lottery. An application to the lottery does not guarantee a placement in the online driver ed section. Those selected in the lottery must make payment by the deadline or they will forfeit their place in the program. If there are still spaces available after the payment due date, they will be filled based on a wait list created from those not selected in the initial lottery.

| Thu 4/24/25 | Lottery application CLOSES for parents/guardians for online Driver Ed 12:00 pm |
| Fri 4/25/25 | Lottery selection occurs. Waitlist will start for applications received AFTER the lottery selection for any un-claimed spaces. |
| Fri 4/25/25 | Parent/guardian notified of lottery results using email from application |
| Mon 5/5/25 | Parent must accept/notify Granite Online of acceptance to program so that a bill may be generated. |
| Mon 5/12/25 | Payment due for successful lottery candidates $185 (fee waiver applies for eligible students). Payment will be in Focus Portal. Waitlist students offered any unpaid spots. |
| Fri 5/30/25 | AAA assignments available. Students should do a minimum of 2 hours per day. |
| Sat 6/7 AND 6/14 | RANGE driving. Students must complete two drives on the range. These are the only 2 dates available for online students. Students MAY do both drives on the same day if needed. Located at Kearns High School. |
| Fri 6/20/25 | AAA must be complete and certificate uploaded to Canvas |
| Fri 6/27/25 | All driving complete, all additional Canvas assignments complete, submitted to Canvas, passed with a B- or better. |
| after Sat 6/28/25 | Students who have successfully completed all requirements and passed with a B- or better will have their info sent to the Driver License Division and can make testing appointment with DLD to take final driving exam. |
