We offer cultural presentations for fourth-grade students in our elementary schools. If you are interested in scheduling a presentation for your school, please email Angela Muir. We offer cultural activities such as learning traditional dances and arts and crafts, meeting native guest speakers, and field trips. Every year, Title VI hosts many events in addition to its regular meetings:

Future Nurses Summer Camp: Exploring Nursing and Pathways to Nursing Education
Join University of Utah College of Nursing faculty, staff, alumni, and students for an exciting introduction to nursing and health care! The college is hosting its fourth annual Future Nurses Summer Camp wherein participants will:
- Meet real nurses and learn about the many types of nursing roles
- Participate in real-world medical scenarios in the College of Nursing Simulation Center
- Learn to use hospital equipment
- Walk the University of Utah campus and explore college life
- Understand different education pathways to nursing

RIISE Grand Canyon River Trip (Details)
Grand Canyon Trust RIISE River Trip — Regional, Intertribal, Intergenerational Stewardship Expedition. July 19–27, 2026.
An opportunity grounded in place, guided by purpose. Join us on an unforgettable 9-day rafting trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. The trip is for Native young people (ages 16–20) and is focused on storytelling and stewardship. This intertribal intergenerational group will facilitate community-building, hold conversations with elders, connect with the land, and share stories about Native experience, existence, and resilience.
