We are the Granite District Family Engagement teacher support team. Our goal is to help build the schools’ capacity in creating co-partnerships between teachers & families to engage in supporting student success.

WHAT DO WE OFFER SCHOOLS?
We support schools in their family engagement efforts to build belonging schools. A belonging school is one where families are academic partners and help make decisions about the school. To create a belonging school there is a roadmap (PDF) to follow with 3 steps:

| ENVIRONMENT: Learn how to create a family-friendly environment. Use feedback from your families (surveys, focus groups, etc.) and teachers to design a welcoming environment. They create family nights to share your BIG 3 and teach families how to support their child’s learning.
