The Policy and Legal Services Department (PLS) ensures compliance with State and federal laws and regulations applicable to Granite School District. PLS oversees the process of implementing and updating District policies and procedures; provides training and professional development; conducts personnel investigations; and protects due process rights for students and employees in administrative procedures. PLS works to maintain a safe learning and working environment for students and employees. Further, PLS interacts with other government agencies, legal representatives, and the courts to resolve conflicts and concerns that arise.
