Due to issues with the repair to the pipe that has caused the initial flooding, Taylorsville High School is without drinking fountains and restrooms for the remainder of the day. As such, school will be released after the current class period ends at 12:43 PM. We regret the inconvenience and anticipate that the repair will be made in time for school to proceed as normal tomorrow. Students involved in extra curricular activities should speak with their coach or advisor regarding whether those activities can proceed or not. Thank you for your patience and support as we work to keep your students safe.

Taylorsville High has been evacuated this morning a little after 11 am due to a sprinkler pipe (fire retention system) breaking and flooding the shop area of the building. Students were evacuated to outside the school building.
Students will remain evacuated until the alarm is turned off. District maintenance officials are on their way.
To be clear, the evacuation is precautionary in nature to ensure student and staff safety and once the building is cleared we anticipate that students will return to class as soon as possible.
