Kearns High School briefly entered a Secure Protocol as a precautionary measure due to a disorderly student outside the building. The protocol was initiated out of an abundance of caution while school administration and law enforcement addressed the situation. The protocol was lifted after just a few minutes.

During a Secure Protocol, the outside doors are locked, and no one is allowed in or out of the building. School proceeded as normal inside the building. To reiterate, this protocol was initiated out of an abundance of caution.
