The Support Services division is organized to build, maintain, and improve school facilities and to safely transport students to school and school related activities.
The underlying goal is always to create and maintain the safest learning environment possible for all our students and staff members. Studies indicate that students learn best in well-maintained schools.
Support Services proactively supports the educational process by:
- Maintaining a clean, comfortable and safe environment in all District schools and buildings.
- Providing safe and efficient transportation services for students.
- Providing new facilities and remodeling and renovating existing facilities.
- Providing security for District schools and other assets.

Emergency Management

Emergency management oversees the development and implementation of emergency response plans, coordinates drills and training for staff and students, and collaborates with local agencies to ensure preparedness. Additionally, the Emergency Manager works closely with the Communications Department to maintain accurate and timely messaging during emergencies.

The Energy Conservation department provides support throughout the district to ensure a comfortable learning and working environment. We encompass the practice of energy conservation and education, continuously striving to improve and maximize energy savings.

Maintenance Services maintains over 100 facilities in the Granite School District. Our staff is fully trained, licensed, and certified in all major construction and maintenance trades. We are committed to excellent customer support and are pleased to be at your service.
Planning & Boundaries

The Planning and Boundaries department is responsible for the Annual Student Population Study, reviewing and analyzing boundary changes throughout the District; in addition we manage a fleet of almost 250 relocatables, as well as process Granite High Transcript requests.
