A strong AVID system can transform the instruction, systems, leadership, and culture at your school to ensure college and career readiness for all students.
Does ‘All Students’ Mean ‘All Students’ at Your School or District?
We invite superintendents, district leadership, principals, and teacher leaders to see how schools are implementing AVID nationwide to:
- Ensure student success by incorporating WICOR® (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, Reading) strategies throughout all classrooms to support increased rigor schoolwide.
- Provide ongoing professional learning for staff and site-based coaching.
- Build collective educator agency to transform culture in support of all students.

- Observe the vertical and horizontal articulation of AVID strategies throughout all grade levels to support student success.
- View WICOR strategies schoolwide to provide quality differentiated instruction for emergent to independent learners in order to scaffold student success with rigorous content.
- Discover how the AVID Elective is pivotal in closing the opportunity gap.
- Meet young AVID scholars with student agency during a Q&A session following the Showcase.
