Happy Holidays from Granite School District
The holiday spirit has been alive and well in schools across Granite District! We’ve been highlighting many events and festivities on the District’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Olene Walker Elementary celebrated the holidays while they were highlighted as FOX13’s “Cool School of the Week,” and ABC4 took time to highlight Eastwood Elementary’s Holiday Concert. Thanks to all the parents and employees who have worked so hard to help Granite students enjoy the holidays.
We wish all of our students, families, and employees a joyful holiday season. Thank you for your hard work, support, and commitment throughout the year. We hope this time brings rest, happiness, and meaningful moments with those you care about, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year.
Holiday Mental Health
The holiday season can be a time of joy and connection, but it can also bring unique challenges for students, families, and staff. Granite School District recognizes that emotional well-being is as important as academic success, especially during this time of year. Stress, anxiety, and feelings of isolation can be heightened, and we are committed to ensuring our community members have access to the support they need.
For those seeking additional support, Utah offers a variety of resources to help individuals navigate holiday stress. The Utah Crisis Line (988) operates 24/7 for immediate assistance, and SafeUT app provides confidential chat and tip services for students, parents, and educators. Download their app, visit their website or call 833-372-3388
Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, and no one has to face challenges alone. Granite School District is here to support every student and family during this season and beyond.

Parent and Family Resource Guide
Parents, please remember to periodically review our Parent & Family Resource Guide. It’s a one-stop page where you can find helpful links and information on a wide variety of topics to support your family throughout the school year. From general district details like school calendars, boundary maps, and registration info, to academic resources such as open enrollment and curriculum links, the guide connects you to everything you need to stay informed and involved. It also includes resources for health services, digital safety, special education support, and access to the parent portal where you can check grades and attendance. Be sure to explore the guide to take full advantage of these supports!
