Community Input Survey
Granite has contracted with MGT, an independent K-12 demographic consulting firm, to support our ongoing planning efforts related to potential programming changes, boundary adjustments, and school closures due to declining student enrollment. As part of this work, MGT wants to hear your perspectives before the planning process begins in earnest. Your first opportunity to be heard is the Preliminary Community Input Survey linked here: Take the Survey

Weather Reminder
We’re just a few short weeks away from the potential for winter weather. First and foremost, please know that Granite School District aims to keep schools open whenever possible. Snow storms are a reality in the Salt Lake Valley, and though winter weather may present challenges, start time delays and distance learning days are rare. If you do not receive a notification of any kind of a start time delay or distance learning day, plan on school being open. Parents will receive a text and email in the event of any delayed start times or transitions to distance learning. Bullying Prevention in Granite School District
Granite School District is committed to protecting students from all forms of bullying. Granite School District students have the right to a safe, caring, and respectful learning environment in which all students can realize their maximum potential and fully engage in the learning process. Our goal is to raise awareness of bullying as an unacceptable form of behavior (“prevention”) and to have procedures in place to deal with bullying behavior when it occurs (“intervention”).
