The building has been cleared and students are back in the building. School is proceeding as normal.

Crestview Elementary has been evacuated this afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m. due to an activated fire alarm. Students were evacuated to outside the school building and are all safe and accounted for. Staff have reported no signs of a fire.

Students will remain evacuated until the alarm is turned off and officials have deemed there is no danger.

To be clear, the evacuation is precautionary in nature to ensure student and staff safety and once the building is cleared we anticipate that students will return to class as soon as possible.
