The Granite School District Board of Education held their April meeting on April 9, 2024. April 2024 board report and meeting recording. Highlights included:

Boundary and Closure Study Open Houses
The district recently held two boundary and closure study open houses. The area of focus for the 2024 study is the 3500 South Corridor. Meetings were held at Granger High and Hunter Jr. High. 2024 boundary study open house materials (recordings, presentations, and feedback forms).

My County Rec Pass
Beginning in June 2024, all school-aged kids (5-18) who live in Salt Lake County will be eligible for FREE rec center passes (to Salt Lake County operated facilities). My County Rec Pass program information (PDF), including program registration information.

Job Fair April 30th
Granite School District, ChamberWest, and many other partners are hosting a job fair for youth and adults on April 30th, from 2-6 PM at Hunter High School (4200 S. 5600 W. West Valley City, UT 84120).
We’re expecting 85+ leading employers in fields such as technology, healthcare, finance, and education. Apply on the spot with some employers!
High school students can get more event information and resume support by contacting their school’s career or counseling center.
