Free and Reduced Lunch
Please remember that you can apply for free or reduced-price school meals at any time during the school year, and that a new application is required each year.
If your financial situation has recently changed — even temporarily — you may now qualify. This can help ease financial stress while ensuring your children receive healthy meals at school. Learn more about free and reduced meals by clicking here.
Winter Weather Reminder
We’re just a few short weeks away from the potential for winter weather. First and foremost, please know that Granite School District aims to keep schools open whenever possible. Snow storms are a reality in the Salt Lake Valley, and though winter weather may present challenges, start time delays and distance learning days are rare. If you do not receive a notification of any kind of a start time delay or distance learning day, plan on school being open. Parents will receive a text and email in the event of any delayed start times or transitions to distance learning. Click here to read more about our weather-related considerations for school closures or delays.

Granite School District Bullying Prevention and Interventions
Granite School District is committed to protecting students from all forms of bullying. Granite School District students have the right to a safe, caring, and respectful learning environment in which all students can realize their maximum potential and fully engage in the learning process. Our goal is to raise awareness of bullying as an unacceptable form of behavior (“prevention”) and to have measures in place to deal with bullying behavior when it occurs (“intervention”).
