School Community Council

A School Community Council (SCC) is a group of parents, educators, and school administrators who work together to help improve their school. In Utah, each public school has an SCC that provides a way for parents and school staff to have a voice in decisions that affect students, including how certain school funds are spent and how the school can support student learning and achievement. SCCs meet regularly throughout the school year and provide an important connection between families, educators, and the school. District Community Council

Granite School District also has a District Community Council, which is made up of School Community Council members from across the entire district. The District Community Council’s purpose is to establish a culture of listening and responding to patrons, strengthen and collaborate with school community councils, and provide timely and accurate information at all levels within the school district.
