What school should my child attend?
Find to which school you belong by typing in your address on our School Boundaries Search tool. Once you have done this, the Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High schools for your area will be displayed. You can find more information and additional maps on the Planning and Boundaries department page.
How do I get my high school transcripts?
Students can request a copy of their high school transcripts by contacting the registrar at the High School they last attended. If the student attended Granite High School, you can download the transcript request forms from the School Leadership and Improvement Services page.
Can I attend a school that I am not zoned for?
Granite School District offers open enrollment. Contact the Elementary, Junior High, High School, or Specialty School that you would like your child to attend to see if that school has space available. Paperwork starts with the school you want to attend.
How do I rent a field or building in Granite School District?
It’s possible to rent auditoriums, gymnasiums, rooms, and playing fields at various locations in the Granite School District. Visit the Facility Rentals page for more information.
What days do my kids have off this month?
Each school’s website should have a calendar available with the days off each year. You can also find district-wide dates on our Calendar page. Filter the calendar by Category to narrow down your search to specific event types, such as District Holidays and Recess Days.
How many credits does my student need to graduate?
You can find graduation requirements, courses, credit hours, and more in the student manuals found on the Teaching & Learning page’s sidebar. For further questions, please contact your child’s individual school’s counseling center.
How can I contact a Granite School District Employee?
All district employees have an email and phone number assigned to them. If you don’t already have their contact information, you can use the Employee People Search tool to find any employee. The number listed for each employee is the department’s general office number. Please dial the given number and then ask for the person for whom you are looking.
How can I get my student in all-day kindergarten?
The Utah State Legislature has set guidelines and funding for Optional Extended Day Kindergarten (O.E.K.) classrooms for “at-risk” students based on socio-economic and academic factors. Following district guidelines, students must live within the boundary of their neighborhood school offering O.E.K to be considered for placement in to a full-day classroom. Granite District does not allow for special permits (open enrollment) in to O.E.K. classrooms. For more information, please contact Kim Babka.

Where can I find the fingerprinting information?
Fingerprinting information depends on your employee, contract, or volunteer type. For more information, please contact the Human Resources department at 385.646.4511.
How can I update my contact information with Granite School District?
If you’re a patron of Granite School District and would like to change your contact information or your child’s contact information, please contact the registrar at your child’s school.
If you’re an employee, you can use the Change of Address form found on the Human Resources Intranet page.
