2020-2021 CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS ANNOUNCEMENT

The Granite School District Board of Education and Granite Education Association are pleased to announce a new teacher contract has been negotiated for the 2020-2021 school year.    Teachers will receive a 5% COLA, and a 3% one-time bonus in November 2020.  Additionally, salary steps 1-5 have been eliminated from the Teacher Salary Schedule.  This means that a first year teacher with a bachelor’s degree will earn $50,380 per year.  

 Granite has already hired over 100 teachers for the 2020-2021 school year, and will continue to fill vacancies as quickly as possible.  Interviews are taking place electronically and will continue in this format until it is safe to do otherwise.  Thank you for your interest in joining our Granite Family!   APPLY HERE!
