Announcement:
URS will be offering ONE-ON-ONE RETIREMENT PLANNING sessions at our district office THIS FRIDAY, Aug. 21. View the URS flyer (PDF) for details.
If you are interested in signing up for one of these, sign up by logging in to your URS account at www.urs.org. Click the Education tab in the top banner, Individual Retirement Planning Sessions and begin scrolling through the dates/location until you find Aug. 21, Granite District HR Benefits Conference room. These fill up quickly, so act fast!
If the Granite time slots are full, or the date/times do not work with your schedule, you can sign up for any future date/location; you are not limited to Granite District Offices.
As always, reach out with any questions. I’m happy to help!
*Please know that URS will never reach out to you directly to schedule an appointment. You must log into your urs.org account to schedule a meeting. If you receive emails or phone calls asking you to set up a retirement meeting, it’s not URS. We have also seen an increase in emails from organizations claiming they are part of Granite’s 403b plans. These are solicitations, NOT sponsored by the Granite School District.

Granite Early Retirement Program

Utah Retirement System (URS) Information
Regarding Outside Advisors:
Every so often URS hears of stories from members about meeting with a URS representative who sold them a product (annuity, insurance, death benefit, etc.). URS wants to get the word out that our Advisors do not contact members to schedule meetings about their retirement benefits and URS does not sell products. If you have employees that are looking to learn more about their URS retirement benefits, URS would love to meet with them. These sessions are scheduled online through the www.urs.org website.
