Explore the lists of books approved for use in the classroom
Search the lists using Edit>Find and Replace, then type the title you are looking for.
Want to get a novel approved for use in the classroom?
(Only school personnel can access this form and must use their graniteschools.org account to access the Google Form.)
For parents, stakeholders, and community members: if you are interested in understanding the process of novels/text approval for instructional use or the appeals process, please see the School Board Rules on Novels below. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher, local administrator, or board member.
The following appeals form is for a teacher/parent of a current GSD student requesting:
- A novel be removed from the approved list
- A review of a previously nominated but not adopted novel
- A change in approved grade level
- A change in a novel’s annotation
