Approved Novels
Explore the lists of books approved for use in the classroom
To use the Google Sheets this is housed in, locate the grade band on the separate sheets on the bottom of the sheet to find a specific title.
Nominate a text for instructional use below:
This form is now accepting nominations for the upcoming 2024 – 25 School Year. This form will stop accepting applications in May 2025.
(Only school personnel can access this form and must use their graniteschools.org account to access the Google Form.)
APPEALS INFORMATION
The following appeals form is for a teacher/parent of a current GSD student requesting:
- A novel be removed from instructional use from the district approved list (there is a different process for removal of texts from library, please see Ed Tech’s page for that information).
- A review of a previously nominated but not adopted novel
- A change in approved grade level
- A change in a novel’s annotation
2024-25 Appeal Form for GSD Approved Novels
– This form is accepting appeals for the current 2024 – 25 school year. This form will stop accepting forms in May 2025.
