School Web Sites
Each school in Granite School District has its own web site. A quick web search will usually lead you to a school’s web site as a top result, but the school district also maintains a directory of all our schools. To officially find a school’s web site:
- Visit https://www.graniteschools.org.
- Hover your mouse (or tap) on the Schools option in the top right menu.
- Choose the category for your school and browse through the alphabetical list to find the school’s contact information.
School web sites are managed individually by each school, but are formatted and organized in a unified way across the district so that they include all essential information in the same general locations. School web sites include school calendars, contact information, faculty directories, lunch menus, links to the school’s social media channels, and many other resources at the school’s discretion.
For help with or suggestions for a school’s individual web site, please contact the school directly.
District Web Site
This page is part of www.graniteschools.org, the official public web site of Granite School District. The district web site provides a number of resources for students, parents, employees and the community at large, such as:
- district calendars and other general district information
- a directory of links to all individual school web sites
- news and updates of school and district happenings
- Board of Education information and reports
- spaces for district departments to share information, news, guidelines, and resources
You can use the menu at the top of every page to navigate and browse the website.
Most district web pages also include a convenient search box near the top of the right sidebar that you can use to find what you need with a quick keyword search.
If you have specific questions about information on the district web site you should contact the relevant department for assistance. You can also contact the Communications Office with general questions about the district or school web sites.
The Employee Intranet is a web site through which various district departments share employee-specific resources with teachers, administrators, and other staff members.
To access the Employee Intranet, visit https://graniteschools.sharepoint.com/sites/Intranet/ and log in with your Active Directory credentials. (If you are already logged into a district computer you may not need to enter your login information.)
You can also find a link to the Intranet in the Employee Portal.
Examples of resources that can be found on the Employee Intranet include employee benefit and open enrollment forms, copyrighted curriculum resources that cannot be posted publicly, and specific training resources for employees from departments such as Special Education, Maintenance, or Human Resources. Much like the Portal, it also provides quick links to a range of services for employees that can also be accessed elsewhere.
District departments will usually provide specific instructions to employees on how to navigate to and access relevant resources housed in the Intranet when needed. Many departments have migrated resources that can or should be made publicly available to their department web sites at www.graniteschools.org, so the Employee Intranet has only limited, specific use cases. As it is an older site containing remnants of an older version of the district web site, you will find outdated information in some areas, so browse or search it at your own risk. When in doubt about information you find on the Intranet, search the current public district web site or contact a department directly to ensure you get up-to-date resources.
