BEVERLEY TAYLOR SORENSON ARTS PROGRAM AT GRANITE
The Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program (BTS Arts) provides arts-integrated instruction to elementary students, effectively increasing student performance in every subject—from language arts and social studies to math and science. Granite School district is the only district in the state to have a BTS Arts teacher in every school. Our BTS Arts teachers specialize in integrated arts instruction incorporating all four art forms- Music, Dance, Drama and Visual Art.
ARTWORKS FOR KIDS
Established by Beverley Taylor Sorenson in 1995, Art Works for Kids provides support to educators and arts organizations that provide innovative and sequential fine arts education for the children of Utah. You can become a “Friend of Art Works for Kids” and help to continue arts education in our schools. You can also be an advocate for the arts by writing to your local Legislator to ensure that funding for this program continues for generations. Thank you for your support!
