Highlights and Resources from GSD Tech Meet, May 12, 2020

May 2020Josh Whiting

Celebrating Students

Granite teachers joined in a video and chat meet to share ideas and learn from one another in the final session of our Spring 2020 GSD Tech Meet series. This meet focused on ways to celebrate students and provide closure at the end of the year in a distance learning environment. Below we share a recording of the live meet, as well as ideas, links, and resources shared by participants in the session.

Recording

Thank you to all the participants who shared ideas and answered each other’s questions by using the audio or chat features in Google Meet. The success of these meets relies on sharing from participants. The session was facilitated by Kacie O’Maley, School Technology Specialist at Upland Terrace Elementary and an incoming Team Leader for the Educational Technology Department next year. We highlighted ideas from numerous teachers and technology specialists in the meet. View the recording above, click through the slide presentation, or access the hyperdoc shown below to find links to their resources and see details of what they shared.

Hyperdoc – Resources, Discussion Highlights, and More

Educational Technology Department members collaborated to create this working hyperdocument, which collects notes of thoughts shared in the video discussion and chat, links to resources mentioned, and answers to questions participants left in the feedback form. Click here to visit the live version of this hyperdoc and add it to your drive.
