AppSmash Your Class

September 2014

Whether you’ve been curious about AppSmashing or you’ve never heard the words ‘app’ and ‘smash’ used in the same sentence, it’s sure that AppSmashing is a fun way for students to learn and present content.

What’s an app smash, you ask? An app smash is when multiple apps are used to create a finished project. Your students might already be AppSmashing and not even know it! The most important app is already on your device – the ‘Photos’ app or camera roll is where you save each piece of the smash. Then, put them all together using a different app (like iMovie or ThingLink).

Check out these websites created by GSD School Technology Specialists for more information and resources:

AppSmash for UCET By Brandi Gollinger, Jayanne Unander, and Kristen Johnson (http://appsmash4ucet.weebly.com/)

Hope you’ll have a smash!
